Samsøe Samsøe x Kansas capsule collection

We collaborated with the iconic workwear brand Kansas to
create a collection that focuses on durability and function.
Alice and JS of @jaimetoutcheztoi captured the versatility
of the collection in the urban environment.

Alice, what would you be doing if you had not pursued a career as a content creator or influencer?

I graduated in fashion and luxury marketing with the aim of working as a digital PR or social media strategist for a luxury French fashion house. But now I work for my own company!

JS, what would you be doing?

I am a graphic designer so I guess I would have pursued a freelance career in this.

Describe your style in three words…

Minimal, edgy, matchy.

How would you describe Samsøe Samsøe in three words?

Minimal, timeless, Scandi.

Alice, if you could have a conversation with any person in the world, living or dead, who would it be and why?

I would have loved to have a conversation with Karl Lagerfeld as he was a true genius. He was such an erudite about everything, especially art, history and literature.

JS, who would you choose?

It would have been nice to have a chat with Leonard da Vinci, one of the brightest men that existed.

What is the best advice you have been given?

If you don’t even try, you won’t have a chance to succeed.

What is your favourite decade style wise?

We are 90’s kids so we were very happy about the return of this style these past few months! High waisted jeans, tracksuits, baguette bags and dad shoes are our favourite items from the 90’s.

What are you most proud of?

We are proud to have transformed our passion into our full-time job. Building our own company is super challenging but so exciting.

Can you share a hidden gem of Paris?

There is this cute neighbourhood in Le Marais called Le Village Saint-Paul, which is a bit hidden from the rest of the city; it’s so peaceful and very charming.

How would you spend a day off in Paris?

On a sunny day, by walking into Les Tuileries park, sitting alongside the big fountains and soaking up the sun. On a rainy day, by sitting at the window of a nice café with a hot chocolate, eating a good pain perdu while watching people passing by the street.
