Let us take you across the world and into our international stores. Each of our stores is a unique home to our brand with its own story, neighbourhood, and distinct style – in the same way that the style of each city differs. After visiting the Pilestræde store in our home of Copenhagen as a first stop, we are now finding ourselves in Beak Street in London, a street that is often referred to as "Little Copenhagen" according to Store Manager, Rebecca McCallum.

Nestled between the colourful and lively buildings in Carnaby, the Beak Street store is at the pulsing heart of London. People walk by, stop to take a look at the windows, and step into the space brimming with our Scandinavian collections where Rebecca greets them almost every day. She has been working here for over four years now and feels strongly connected with the store: "The store really feels like it's my store and I love that because it's my second home and such a nice place to work."

But she is not the only person who sees it as a version of a home. With Carnaby being such a central and popular location in London, a lot of tourists visit the store besides the locals – including Danish tourists who, according to Rebecca, often express that it feels "like a home away from home."

On the very opposite end of the spectrum, however, the Beak Street store is often also a first touchpoint with Samsøe Samsøe for people from the UK, but also international travellers, and Rebecca is very aware that this gives her the opportunity to let them experience the brand for the very first time.

As the only Samsøe Samsøe store in England, the location in Beak Street could not be any better. "Day and night, there is something going on. It's such a fun place to work." There surely isn't a shortage of shopping or dining choices here, with cosy restaurants and bars down the street, London signatures like Grind Coffee a few steps away, and big names like the Liberty department store and Selfridges just around the corner. Rebecca's personal favourites? The Old Coffee House, a traditional British pub just next door, as well as the restaurant Zhater, where she is known by name, due to her many visits with her team.
