For us at Samsøe Samsøe, the cityscape serves as a recurring inspiration, as we craft our collections to be the perfect companions for urban life. In the same way that we are inspired by the metropoles of the world, we feel like creatives are also influenced by the cities that they have visited, but, most of all, the city that they live in. It is for that reason that we are introducing a new series in which we talk to creatives in some of our favourite cities to learn about how their creativity is inspired by the city they live in.

Benjamin Patch is a ceramic artist and founder of be.assembly, a collective of artists. He sees making pottery as a meditative process.

His favourite thing about Berlin is the messy character of the city that is unlike any other – as well as its music scene that is perfect for dancing.
