Curated Hanna Frederik 2020PA

As we reach high summer, the celebration (that was
the main influence behind the collection) begins.
Long days on the beach, sitting around a bonfire,
enjoying the dreamy summer sunsets.
We caught up with Hanna and Frederik on
the Danish island of Bornholm to talk
about the art of slowing down.

You’re in Bornholm quite often. How come?

Frederik's family has a summer house here on Bornholm and since we're both freelancers and get to plan our work and time by ourselves we've spent a lot of time here last couple of years and it's one of our absolute favourite spots. It's just so beautiful and peaceful, we both feel really relaxed here and nothing beats waking up to sound of the waves and having breakfast on the beach.

How has COVID-19 made you change your aspect on life – for the future?

I think this year have made us all rethink a lot of things. Personally, it's been really good to just be in the same place for a long time after several years of traveling and working in different cities. A good time to unwind and realize we can't take anything for granted.

Any positive effects from it that you're already seeing now?

We have been really lucky to be able to isolate ourselves on Bornholm last couple of months. I think it's been really nice for the baby that I've been so relaxed and that I've spent so much time outdoors.

Soon to be parents – how does it feel?

We are so happy and excited. We have no idea how life as parents will be like, from what we heard we will not sleep so much but we will feel happier than ever. We can't wait to meet our little baby.
