Terms & Conditions for Samsøe Søciety
1 THE SAMSØE SØCIETY
1.1 The Samsøe Søciety is our free membership programme that offers many exclusive benefits to you. We have created it to bring you, our community, together and to create an even closer relationship with you. To make this possible, being a member of the Samsøe Søciety comes with exclusive insights into our collections and behind the scenes, special local events, unique styles that only members can shop, and more. You can read more about the current benefits in clause 2.
1. 2 To qualify for points (see details below) or other benefits from the Samsøe Søciety, you must register with your email. Your membership is personal and non-transferable, meaning that points, bonus rewards, and exclusive offers cannot be moved to another account.
In connection with your wish of becoming a member you are required to set up a membership profile on samsøe.com. During this process, you must agree to the Member
Terms & Conditions and give SAMSØE SAMSØE consent to process your information to tailor offers and benefits specifically for you.
You can start collecting points and using your benefits as soon as you are fully registered. For the best experience, we recommend creating an account right away, so that you can see your points at any time. Furthermore, you will only be able to access your order history and exclusive vouchers if you have an account on our website.
To join the Samsøe Søciety, you must be at least 16 years old, and you have to provide an email address.
1.3 The Samsøe Society is our membership programme with which you can collect points through your purchases and other actions – such as following us on social media or subscribing to our newsletter. Starting out at Community level, you can reach the Friends level by collecting points. Each level comes with its own set of benefits, and you will receive your first benefits as soon as you become a member. Find out more about the levels and each benefit below. The membership is completely free to use and there is no monthly or annual fee.
1.3.1 COMMUNITY
This level is where each member starts their journey. As a Community member, you will receive benefits such as early access to Sale, access to member exclusive styles, and receiptless returns.
1.3.2 FRIENDS
Once you have collected 10,000 points, you will reach this level and receive the aforementioned benefits as well as vouchers with higher value and exclusive invitations to local events.
2 BENEFITS
2.1 VOUCHERS
All vouchers that you receive from us will be visible in your account. For the best experience, we recommend opting into our targeted marketing and our newsletter. You will then receive an email whenever there is a new voucher available for you, including the Celebration Vouchers and Birthday Vouchers. If you are located in Germany or the United Kingdom, there is a double opt-in process and you need to confirm your subscription in a separate email you receive from us. Please note that you need to have a registered account on our website to be able to use vouchers.
2.1.1 BIRTHDAY VOUCHERS
Should you have added your birthday in your membership profile, you will receive an exclusive Birthday Voucher from us once your birthday is around the corner. The value of this voucher depends on the level of your membership. You can add your birthday to your profile at any time – and you will also receive points from us for doing so!
2.1.2 CELEBRATION VOUCHERS
Whenever you reach a new level of your membership with us, we want to celebrate this occasion with you. To do so, we will send you a voucher that increases in value with each new level.
2.1.3 OTHER VOUCHERS
From time to time, we will offer exclusive vouchers to our members. These could be for specific categories of clothing and accessories or for seasonal collections.
2.2 OTHER BENEFITS
2.2.1 RECEIPTLESS RETURN
Usually, you will need the original receipt when you return an order online or at the store. As a member, however, you can return your purchases without a physical receipt, as we can easily find your purchase and process your return through your membership account.
2.2.2 EARLY ACCESS TO SALE
You will receive exclusive early access to our Sales and Promotions, meaning that you will get to shop them before they open to non-members. As soon as early access opens, you will receive the link via email and will be able to shop Sales and Promotions after logging into your membership account.
2.2.3 MEMBER EXCLUSIVE STYLES
From time to time, we will offer styles that only members can purchase. These limited edition designs will, for example, commemorate special occasions such as one of our pop-ups and will exclusively be available online.
2.2.4 COLLECTION INSIGHTS
Before our new collections officially launch, you will be able to get a first preview of them. This means that you will be able to explore its styles already and receive a first glimpse of the accompanying campaign shots that we have created to showcase them.
2.2.5 BRAND EVENTS
As part of our highest membership level, you will receive exclusive invitations to local events like pop-ups and more. Please note that this is a local offer only and we sadly do not cover any costs for accommodation or travelling.
2.2.6 THE SAMSØE SOCIETY DAYS
The Samsøe Society Days are a member exclusive promotion of 25% off selected styles and are one of the benefits of our membership program. They can only be accessed by Samsøe Society members who are logged into their customer accounts.
2.2.7 SAVED ITEMS
When you explore our webshop and collections while logged in, you can save all of your favourite items for a later point. Simply log in to find them saved in your account.
2.2.8 PURCHASE HISTORY
If you use the email address associated with your Samsøe Søciety account to make an order or have your email address registered while making a purchase in-store, you will be able to access your entire purchase history in your account online. Here, you can see the products you have purchased as well as the points you have collected with each purchase.
3 COLLECTING POINTS
3.1 If you want to get to the next membership level, you need to collect points. Our Community level is where every member starts and to reach Friends level, you need to cross the threshold of 10,000 points.
3.2 You can collect points through a variety of different actions such as buying products in our webshop, subscribing to our newsletter, making returns in-store, and more. You can find a full list of all ways to collect points here. Please note that it may take up to 30 days for your points to show in your profile after a purchase.
4 POINT EXPIRATION & LEVEL DOWNGRADE
Your points will be valid for 24 months. This means that each point you have collected will expire 24 months after its collection and your overall balance will change alongside this. Besides that, we have integrated a membership downgrade quarantine, meaning that you cannot lose your membership level in the 24 months after reaching it.
5 HOW WE STAY IN CONTACT
When you register as a member of the Samsøe Søciety, you give us consent to contact you regarding targeted offers and marketing, questions, invitations to events, and competitions. In addition, you give us permission to contact you with special promotions, news that we think you would like, and other member services.
It is customary for us to communicate with you via email; however, we also offer the option of sending SMS messages. We prioritise data security, which is why all emails sent by SAMSØE SAMSØE will exclusively originate from the following addresses: customercare@samsoe.com and email@news.samsoe.com. If you ever question the authenticity of an email you receive, please verify whether it was sent from one of our official email addresses or reach out to customercare@samsoe.com for clarification.
Additionally, we will never request that you send us sensitive information such as account details or passwords via email.
7. SAMSOE.COM’S USE OF COOKIES
SAMSØE SAMSØE uses cookies to make content relevant for you. Our Cookie Policy contains information about what we use cookies for, what information we collect and process, and for what purpose. 8 CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS
We retain the right to change the terms governing the accrual, expiration, and utilisation of points and subscriptions. Additionally, we may change other member benefits, including the discontinuation of existing benefits and the introduction of new ones, which could affect points already accumulated. Furthermore, we reserve the right to implement ongoing adjustments regarding the processing of your personal data.
Substantial modifications to Samsøe Søciety member terms will be communicated in writing to the email address provided, with a one-month notice period. Your membership, along with all accrued points, will remain valid and usable within the specified timeframe. Should you choose not to accept the changes, you unsubscribe the Samsøe Søciety membership prior to the effective date of the alterations.
Non-material changes, as well as modifications that benefit you, may be implemented without prior notice. If you no longer wish to maintain your membership in Samsøe Søciety, you may request for your member account to be deleted by reaching out to the SAMSØE SAMSØE Customer Care team: customercare@samsoe.com.
Please be advised that upon opting out, you will forfeit any unused points and relinquish the right to accrue bonus gifts, or redeem other vouchers and membership benefits, as these privileges are contingent upon an active membership.
The misuse of a membership may result in permanent expulsion from the Samsøe Søciety, including the revocation of any earned points, bonus gifts, prizes, and personalised offers. Instances of abuse may include, but are not limited to, the creation of multiple profiles for the same individual or group in an attempt to circumvent our purchase restrictions or ban on purchases made for resale purposes; manipulation of points, such as purchasing a product on one profile and exchanging it on another; theft or attempted theft; or any unacceptable conduct towards SAMSØE SAMSØE employees.
9 PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA
SAMSØE SAMSØE is the data controller for handling your personal data. When you register for the Samsøe Søciety, you will accept that SAMSØE SAMSØE may process your personal data to communicate and help regarding your membership.

10 ADMINISTRATION OF YOUR MEMBERSHIP
We use your personal data to manage your membership in the Samsøe Søciety, which includes providing you with access to our membership benefits and keeping you informed about the Samsøe Søciety.
For the above purposes, we process the following information about you:
The information you provide when you register for the Samsøe Søciety and when you update your profile, including name, address, email, phone number, date of birth
Information about your purchases at SAMSØE SAMSØE
Information on earning and using points and other member benefits
Information about any optional subscriptions linked to your Samsøe Søciety membership
Information collected when you communicate with us regarding your membership
Information about your attendance of brand events
The legal basis for SAMSØE SAMSØE processing your personal data is our agreement with you regarding your membership, in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation.
