Artists of all disciplines are at the centre of our SAMSØE SØCIETY series. In this part, architect and artistic designer Garance Vallée and textile designer and artist Franck Pellegrino are in our focus. We visited them in Paris to explore their references and inspirations as well as how they work together creatively.

The couple met 13 years ago in Paris and has not only been together since then, but also been working together over the years – whether by talking about references and researching or by bringing projects to life collaboratively.

Inspired by the textile and musical heritage of the culture he grew up in, Franck also has a keen interest in interior design and uses it as reference for his work with clothing and fabrics.

In her work, Garance likes to create new relationships between people, space, and objects, using her background in architecture to think in different dimensions and shapes.
